Unlike the popular fitness belief trending for decades, excessive abdominal work with little attention to stablilzer muscles in the shoulder and hip joints WILL NOT result in a "strong core". Briefly explained, your CORE includes all musculature surrounding the trunk area from the front to back. These muscles need a specific balance of strength and mobility for proper movement. Utilizing a non-traditional approach, Intermix Pilates addresses these bio-mechanical variables to improve muscle development, postural alignment, and alleviate chronic pain/injuries if presented.
